Commissioned as a Christmas gift.  Nola Belle is a rescue dog, and she is from New Orleans.  She is super sweet and I'm sure she loves king cake and Mardi Gras!

Papa and Max

This is a portrait of my grandfather and my son.  PaPa passed away a few years ago, and this painting was just my way of remembering how he lit up everytime he held a baby.

This is a small 8x10 panel sketch of my grandfather and my son.  My grandfather loved children.  He loved them so much that crying babies would almost instantly fall asleep in his arms.  A baby doesn't know much, but he knows when he's safe and loved.

Decided to try out pastels for the first time.  My brother gave me a set for Christmas last year, and they've been sitting on a shelf, neglected.  A bit messy, but okay for a first attempt, I think.
